After the typhoon's disruption, I resumed my morning walk, enjoying the cooler temperatures. A friend, an old friend, lives in Nagano Prefecture.  I have visited him every other year.  We talk, drink and wander in the mountain area.I think we talk about the same thing, old days, every time, nothing else.  However, I find something new ever time when we talk about old days.

Dogwood was sent by Americans in 1915. It was a return gift of cherry trees which Mayor of Tokyo gave in 1912. So, 2015 is the 100 year anniversary of dogwood in Japan.
